About Me

Hey I'm Ross. I have been a Personal Trainer for the best part of 10 years, where I have worked alongside a wide variety of clients and gained a wealth of experience. I am based at Love2Live, Shrewsbury (Salop Leisure). I'm a fitness enthusiast and also a keen mountain biker and hiker!

I am Level 4 qualified in both obesity and diabetes, Back pain management and I work alongside many sufferer's of other health related problems (GP Referral). As a Personal Trainer I can provide you with everything you need to achieve your goals. Together we will identify your goals, measure and achieve them. You will experience tangible results as I work with and continue to motivate you on your road to success.  I believe exercise should play a huge role in your life, its beneficial to your well-being but more importantly, it should be fun and enjoyable, that's where I can help. I will work the sessions around your lifestyle to suit you. I will make the sessions specific to you and your goals gaining tangible results along the way. Prices can be found below!

What I offer

Personal training can be taken out within Single Sessions, Block or group sessions. Each client will have an accompanied fitness app that will allow me to assign workouts, nutritional recipe packs and lifestyle habits. Group sessions (up to 5 people) and Block Sessions (5 or 10 sessions) will offer a discounted rate allowing you to save money and receive the same quality service. Prices can be found below!

After something long term? - I can offer discounted payment plans based on a minimum 3 month standing order.

Some months will be 5 week month meaning you get more value for less.

£175 p/m based on 1 session p/w (includes app, support, training plan, nutrition advice, up to 5 sessions p/m)

I started PT sessions with Ross after pulling out my back deadlifting and with ongoing problems with tight hips and hamstrings. I had no relief from a physio (who said it was psychosomatic) or osteopath (that it couldn’t be fixed through exercise) but Ross very quickly identified the imbalances. After six weeks I’m back to deadlifting regularly, my posture and flexibility has improved, I’m stronger and much more motivated.

Ross has a really great knowledge base when it comes to functional fitness and his style of training feels empowering, he’s positive and obviously cares!

Started with Ross in January to increase my leg strength, core strength and overall stamina for road cycling with a target set for July. 7 weeks later have seen a improvement as has my cycling buddy the other weekend when we tackled the Wrekin. The training exercises have been focused on all the areas for me to reach my aim, with a previous back injury to protect but also strengthen. Ross pushes you to achieve what he thinks you are capable of but never to point that will cause injury, the saying no pain no gain, the first couple of sessions did have some pain only cos muscles and areas work had laid inactive. Would recommend Ross and will certainly be booking another block of sessions to get to my target.
